Ko au te whenua - te whenua ko au
I am the land - the land is me
Our Kaupapa
Mana Whenua Aotearoa Manatōpū is a kaupapa Māori organization committed to fostering tikanga Māori and Mana Motuhake across Aotearoa.
We are who we are, proud of our whakapapa, and we want to share our journey—our understanding of where we have come from and future we are creating for our mokopuna. By honoring our past and looking to the future, we challenge the pūnaha to uphold the Māori way of living.
We are Mana Whenua
We are Tangata Whenua

Our Official Seal
Ringakati me Ngā Rau
Fist and Ferns
Ringakati (fist) surrounded by ngā rau (ferns) portrays a harmonious relationship between our tangata (people), our tīpuna (ancestors), and our whenua (land), all underpinned by values of kaha (strength) and mana (honor).
Together, these symbols communicate a strong message of kotahitanga (unity), mana (power), tīpuna (heritage), and connection to both tangata (people) and the whenua (land), which are core aspects of whakapapa (identity).
